An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, autonomous and highly skilled Clinical Psychologistto join the new Paediatric Clinical Psychology Team at James Paget University Hospital, Gorleston.

Main duties of the job

With this new post you will form part of a growing Clinical Psychology team; with interesting opportunities to be involved in service development, innovation, improvement and team working, as we expand the areas of paediatrics we cover at the hospital. You will be part of a dedicated team, who already work alongside the multidisciplinary paediatric teams at JPUH within the specialities of diabetes, epilepsy, functional neurological disorders, gastroenterology, orthopaedics and general paediatrics. This new post will focus on psychology expansion into the Level One, Special Care Neonatal Unit at JPUH. Working with the existing multidisciplinary team, who are very keen to welcome a Clinical Psychologist onto the Team.

We are a small Paediatric Clinical Psychology team that offers excellent opportunities for professional support and development. We always have trainees on placement with us from local ClinPsyD programmes; for core placements, specialist placements and research. This post would also be supported by a well-established wider network of Clinical Psychologists working in neonatal units in the East of the Region.
