Main duties of the job

This senior clinician will provide assessment and oral care for clients of Bedfordshire Special Care Dental Services, to both adults and children who have additional needs.

In conjunction with the wider team of clinicians, the post holder will be part of a team responsible for the management of paediatric and adult referrals. Where appropriate this will involve intravenous sedation, inhalation sedation and treatment under general anaesthesia. General anaesthetic sessions are undertaken at Bedford Hospital and Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
