If so, SCFT Intermediate Care Units (ICUs) could be the ideal opportunity for you!We are looking to complete our Band 7 Team with a dedicated Physiotherapist Clinical Lead to assist in managing and developing the Therapy Service for our ICUs based at Crawley Hospital and Horsham Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the service we provide to the community through our bedded units.

Main duties of the job

As a Band 7 Clinical Lead, you will:o Deliver complex clinical care to patients in the ICU settings.o Provide clinical leadership and support for staff, helping them manage their caseloads and personal development.o Take the lead on In-Service Training programmes, not only for our team but also for colleagues across inpatient settings.o Play a key role in service development, promoting a culture of rehabilitation across the units.o Work closely with a Band 8 and Operational team lead who will offer support in your professional growth, providing regular supervision and helping you progress within your career.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

• Degree/ post graduate diploma/ or equivalent in Physiotherapy
• Current HCPC Registration
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Evidence of a range of clinical competencies appropriate for the role

Desirable

• Post Registration qualification/ training to masters level in a relevant field or equivalent post graduate training or experience
• Evidence of leadership education/ development or a willingness to undertake this

Experience

Essential

• Significant experience providing clinical leadership to a team
• Significant experience of working in the specialist clinical setting
• Significant experience of supervision provision
• Experience of leading within a multi-professional team/ collaborative working
• Experience of delivering quality improvement, innovation and productivity

Desirable

• Minimum of 4 years post graduate experience
• Evidence of active participation in audit and clinically relevant research

Skills and Knowledge

Essential

• Demonstrable expertise within clinical area underpinned by theory and significant experience
• Demonstrates excellent leadership and ability to empower others in practice
• Demonstrates ability to delegate to others
• Demonstrates excellence in communication skills with an ability to negotiate and manage conflict
