We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate dental therapist to join Plymouth Community Dental Service (PCDS), part of Livewell Southwest. The role is up to 18.75 hours per week for a 12 month fixed term to cover maternity leave.
This specialist led community dental service provides dental care across a wide range of dental disciplines and provides an interesting and exciting place to work.
This post holder will join the therapist team and will undertake relevant treatments under prescription from clinicians for patients seen by the service, which includes children and adults with special needs (including medically compromised). Promotion of good oral health messaging is a key element of this role. Support with epidemiology surveys on behalf of Public Health England may also be part of this position. A qualification in inhalation sedation would be preferred but not essential.
You will be working in a friendly, supportive and multi-skilled team where staff development and support is at the heart of what we do.
