Senior Clinical Psychologist

Job summary

We are pleased to have secured two Clinical Psychology 8a posts to oversee the ongoing development of Bradford's Specialist Early Attachment and Development Service (SEADs 0-6 years).

We are a robust multidisciplinary team within Specialist CAMHS. We are composed of clinical psychology, specialist occupational therapy & specialist practitioners with health visiting, social care & nursery-nurse backgrounds. We have a depth of shared experience in working with early childhood problems including attachment difficulties, trauma and maltreatment - and we adopt a whole family approach. Our service model is primarily informed by Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).

Main duties of the job

We require two senior psychologists with specialist working knowledge of Child-Parent Psychotherapy and significant clinical experience in early childhood to play a leading role in steering the service though the next phase of development.

We are hoping to recruit two practitioners who are deeply passionate about working with the problems of early childhood in communities rich in cultural heritage and spirit -- yet with the harsh daily struggle of deprivation, poverty and intergenerational trauma.

The posts are based across our sites in Bradford and Keighley.
