We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HM The Mount a category C training prison built on the site of a former RAF station on the outskirts of Bovingdon village, Hertfordshire.
In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours
Monday to Friday: 07:30 17:30 (37.5 hrs per week).
Salary
Youll receive an annual salary up to £43,534 per annum - depending on experience.

Qualifications & Experience required
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.

As a GPHC registered pharmacy technician with Practice Plus Group you will become an integral member of pharmacy team, as well as a valued member of the multidisciplinary clinical healthcare team.
You will;
Provide outstanding quality based patient centred care to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them. Focusing on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
Deliver non-judgmental care within the scope of professional standards. Involving anything from the timely administration of medicines through to analysing cost effective prescribing as defined through our unique health in justice medicines policy. You will make a real difference by working as a key member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Inspire excellence by forging strong links within our teams, our partners and stakeholders and providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within and feel proud of. Promote best practice, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement embedding a culture of shared learning. Communicate complex or sensitive information whilst demonstrating empathy and understanding to patients.
Share information relating to pharmaceutical products, medicines optimisation, drug regimes, medicines legislation and general health education so that the multidisciplinary healthcare team are appropriately informed.
