Specialist Physiotherapist

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, forward thinking Specialist Physiotherapist who is keen to develop and advance their clinical skills within a friendly, supportive and innovative environment.

This is a full time permanent post with some evening cliniccover required

Main duties of the job

Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust MSK Physiotherapy service provides a comprehensive range of treatments for patients presenting with a wide variety of MSK related complaints. We operate as part of the Wirral MSK triage service providing assessment and treatment of MSK conditions and referring back to triage for onward investigation where this is identified. We also receive referrals from secondary care with a mixture of orthopeadic, rheumatology and post-operative conditions. Working as an MSK Physiotherapist, you will be required to assess to a high standard and provide a range of quality and evidenced based interventions in a variety of community settings throughout the Wirral peninsula.

You must possess a degree in physiotherapy and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. You must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.

About us

The MSK service as a whole offers osteopathy, outpatient neurology, hand splinting and access to well-equipped patient gyms. We also have close links to the podiatry service for biomechanical assessments
