An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our enthusiastic and driven service. We are looking for a motivated band 5 therapist to join our forward-thinking and supportive team.
We currently provide a 5 day service in the community and are moving towards a 7 day service in the acute service. This post would be across our acute team based at Lincoln County Hospital and in our community team which encompasses a variety of locations. The team provides a service to inpatients and outpatients and also works on a domiciliary basis covering a number of specialisms, these include voice, aphasia, dysfluency, dysphagia, progressive neurological conditions and AAC.
We are highly committed to professional development and evidence-based practice, and there is support available within the service from a range of clinical specialists. We have a well-established local AAC Service and The East Midlands AAC Regional hub is based in Lincoln, with opportunities for training and joint working with AAC professionals from the hub. There is regular access to clinical supervision and CPD including countywide skill-sharing groups, and all staff participate in service improvement initiatives.
