We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and maintaining high-quality data, supporting the team with data entry and reporting tasks, and fostering a data-driven culture.
This role involves supporting the Senior Analyst in communicating on behalf of GMTH and Bolton GP Federation. It will involve regular contact with all stakeholders, including staff, public and partners such as GP practices, Primary Care Networks, GM Federations and customers of the GMTH.
The role is part-time and can be worked flexibly between Monday to Friday. However, due to the nature of the work, some requirements to attend meetings at specific times and out of hours working, including evenings and weekends will be expected as and when necessary.
The communications function forms part of a wider blended team with the GMTH and the GM Feds collaborative, and this role provides a fantastic opportunity to work on both a local and regional footprint.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst still ensuring high levels of accuracy and confidentiality. The post holder will have a professional, flexible approach to work and the ability to prioritise/plan their workload. In addition, experience of working in an office environment along with computer literacy in Microsoft Office including, Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel is required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy, producing basic reports, and assisting in the collection and presentation of data for monthly board reports.
The successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate an expertise in data handling, attention to detail, and the ability to design tools like Microsoft Forms, which will be key to ensuring the team's data processes are efficient and effective.
Comprehensive training will be provided, and managerial support will be readily available. However, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate initiative and work independently for much of their time.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Regularly review and monitor spreadsheets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or gaps in data.
Promote best practices in data entry and management across the team.
Assist team members with data entry tasks, ensuring adherence to predefined standards.
Provide guidance on proper data collection methods and formats.
Advocate for the importance of data quality within the team.
Collaborate with colleagues to embed data-driven decision-making into daily operations.
Support the collation of data for monthly board reports.
Assist in producing and updating basic spreadsheets to present key insights and metrics.
Design and build Microsoft Forms for streamlined data collection.
Ensure that all forms are aligned with data collection needs and organisational standards.
Provide insight into the importance of collecting all relevant data from the start in the correct format.
Identify opportunities to enhance current data processes and systems.
Respect confidentiality at all times and remain compliant with data protectin legislation
Liaise with internal and external colleagues via telephone and email.
Good understanding and knowledge of a full range of administrative procedures and organisational procedures.
Experience and knowledge in the use of MS Office Suite.
