The Department of Transplantation & Hepatobiliary Surgery at Leeds Teaching Hospitals is offering an exciting opportunity to appoint Senior Clinical fellow in the department.
There are 11 Consultants working in the Department of Transplantation & Hepatobiliary Surgery at Leeds Teaching Hospitals and there are more than 1000 major procedures performed annually.
The post offers an excellent opportunity in higher surgical training in Liver Transplantation, Hepatobiliary surgery and Organ Retrieval.
The successful candidate will be part of the out of hours rota for Organ retrieval and will cover Transplantation & Hepatobiliary surgery or General Surgery emergencies. The candidate will also be expected to cover elective and emergency in-patient and day case surgery, general, Transplant and Hepatobiliary specialist out-patient clinics and regular ward work.
Previous experience in Organ Retrieval, Transplantation & Hepatobiliary Surgery is highly desirable and evidence of this should be submitted in the application form.
The Senior Fellow post is offered on a 12 months fixed term contract.
