An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join the District Nursing Service within Merthyr& Cynon areas. The applicant must be a Registered Nurse, be confident and competent in a wide range of clinical skills and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development. There is a requirement for a flexible approach to work and an ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
There are multiple demands in this exciting role due to the challenging nature of providing care for patients outside of the hospital environment. The post-holder will however find themselves well supported by a very friendly and enthusiastic team of staff.
The post is initially based with a District Nursing Team in the Merthyr area, although you could be asked to work anywhere within Merthyr & Cynon area to meet the needs of the Service.
This post is secondment for 3 months to meet the needs of the service
